LB Brumage

President, CDUdotcom

Ms. Brumage is owner and President of CDUdotcom, an online marketing and website strategy company based in Lake Zurich, IL. CDUdotcom provides a full range of online marketing services for small and medium-size businesses including web design, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, marketing strategy consulting and copywriting.

Originally from West Virginia, Ms. Brumage lived in northern New Jersey for 10 years before moving to Illinois in 1997. She and her partner of 17 years have one daughter who attends Sarah Adams Elementary School.

Ms. Brumage served in a variety of corporate leadership roles for 20+ years focusing on both organizational development and product development. She serves as a mentor for students in the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), is chairperson for the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce (LZACC) Marketing Committee and serves on the LZACC Taste of the Towns sponsorship committee. 

Ms. Brumage believes there are few things more important than our children's education. She sees the Foundation as a great way to help business and individuals get more involved in supporting the people who are making a huge difference in the lives of our children.

Sergio Pereira
Trustee

Chief Marketing Officer, Quill.com

Sergio Pereira is a consumer marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in the areas of general management and brand management. Currently, Sergio is the Chief Marketing Officer for Quill.com, a leading business-to-business e-tailer of office products and division of STAPLES.

Prior to this assignment, Mr. Pereira was Vice President of Marketing for Barilla where he was tasked with introducing the brand to the U.S. market. Mr. Pereira has also worked for other Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft and AT&T. He serves on the board for the STAPLES Foundation, is a board advisor to the Chicago chapter of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce, and is a frequent guest lecturer at the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.

Mr. Pereira and his wife, Laurie, have lived in the Lake Zurich area since 1992 They have 4 children ages 18, 16, 11 and 9. Three of their children are currently in the Lake Zurich school system and one is away at college.

Tony Pietro
Trustee

School District 95 Board Liaison
Modular Installations and Designs

Mr. Pietro is a Sales and Marketing Manager for Modular Installations and Designs, and is a member of IIDA (Int’l. Interior Design Assoc.) and ASID (American Society on Interior Design).  Mr. Pietro is active in CUSD 95 as a member of the Board of Education, and as a member of the Technology Committee. 

The Pietro family includes four daughters ranging from 5th grade (Isaac Fox) to a Senior at the High School.  The Pietro family attends St. Mary, where Mrs. Pietro is Music Director , and the family is active in many church groups and clubs.  Since moving to Deer Park in 2004, he has coached soccer (Ela Soccer Assoc.), basketball (Foglia YMCA and Barrington Park District), as well as softball (LZBSA).  Mr. Pietro currently plays in a flag football league in the LZPD and softball in the Barrington Park District.

Mr. Pietro looks forward to serving on the Foundation Board of Trustees as School Board Liaison, noting that he believes in the Foundations’ mission and feels that maintaining academic excellence is our most important goal, but it should be done without sacrificing our extra-curricular and cultural offerings.

Dave Priniski
Trustee

Senior Engineering Manager for Motorola, retired

Mr. Priniski earned four patents during his 35-year career with Motorola. He received a BSEE and MSEE degree from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan and an Associates Degree from Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, Michigan. His wife, Pat, previously served eight years on the District 95 Board of Education. The Priniski’s have three children who all graduated from Lake Zurich schools. They currently have three grandchildren, with number four on the way.

Mr. Priniski currently serves as Vice President of  the Board of Directors for Chicago Master Singers, an Illinois not-for-profit choral organization. He worked for several years as an adviser for the Junior Achievement Program sponsored through Motorola. He also spent several years working with the JayCees organizing programs such as the Punt, Pass and Kick competition, Special Olympics meets, and meals for shut-ins among other activities. Mr Priniski also sings in the choir at St. Francis de Sales, where has been involved for over 24 years.

Having had a successful career, and working with other not-for-profit groups, Mr. Priniski feels his experience will be helpful to the Foundation. Giving back to the community is more than ever one of his higher priorities now that he has some free time as a retiree.

John Sfire
Trustee

The Fidelity Group

Mr. Sfire brings extensive community service experience to the School District 95 Foundation, having served for many years on the College of Lake County Education Foundation. Mr. Sfire is one of the founders of the Foglia YMCA, and supports the Hawthorn Woods Womens’ Club, SNAP, and the Bear Boosters Club. Mr. Sfire is also the Executive Director of Faith Food Panty, President of Northern Illinois Food Bank, and Executive Director of The Samuel R. Sfire Foundation which, among other things, distributes over $40,000 annually in financial assistance to qualified student applicants.

Mr. Sfire is Chairman/CEO of The Fidelity Group located in Lake Zurich since its inception 20 years ago. Presently, the Fidelity Group owns/manages approximately 850,000 square feet of retail/office space in Lake Zurich.

The Sfire family includes two School District 95 graduates, Jason Alan Sfire and Niki Sfire Williams.

Sandra Smith
Trustee

Weight Watchers

Mrs. Smith has served on the PTOs of Isaac Fox and Middle School South, and is past Bear Booster President at Lake Zurich High School. She has previously won the INSPRA 2006 Award of Merit for Distinguished Service, the CUSD 95 Parent Volunteer Award, and the Illinois State Board of Education “Those Who Excel” 2006 Award of Meritorious Service for the CUSD 95 PTO Presidents. Additionally, Mrs. Smith is a member of the Strategic Plan Steering Committee for CUSD 95. Active for many years in Girl Scouts as a Troop Leader and Neighborhood Cookie Chair, Mrs. Smith was also awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Award for Seneca Neighborhood.

The Smith family attends Palatine First United Methodist Church in Palatine, where Mrs. Smith has served as Chair of The Board of Trustees, Chair of Staff-Parish Relations, and a Core Team Leader of the recent Building Campaign for the renovation of the church.

Mrs. Smith received her BBA in Transportation and Logistics from Iowa State University and her MBA from Pepperdine University. Most recently, Mrs. Smith served as the Village Clerk for the Village of Deer Park until 2005. Mrs. Smith is currently a Service Provider with Weight Watchers N.A.

The Smith family includes two CUSD 95 graduates and a Junior at LZHS.

Ginny Wagner
Trustee

Vice President of Marketing, Inland Bank

Ms. Wagner is Vice President of Marketing for Inland Bank. She has lived in the Lake Zurich community since 1988. She and her husband Paul, a retired teacher, have two children. Their daughter is a graduate student at Bastyr University in holistic nutrition and clinical psychology and their son attends Lake Zurich High School. Ms. Wagner served as Community Relations Director for District 95 from 1991-1995 and has received numerous awards over the years including the American Bank Marketing Association “Innovative Product Campaign Award” (2009), Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce Community Partnership Award (2007) and Illinois Bankers Association Community Service Award (2007).

Ms. Wagner was formerly active on PTO boards, having served as Vice President and Publicity Chair at Sarah Adams as well as Publicity Chair at Middle School North. She is now a member of the Quarter Back Club at Lake Zurich High School. Ms. Wagner has held many leadership positions in the community including Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2001-2005), Hawthorn Woods Women’s Club— Angel Board of Directors (2006-present) and St. Matthews Lutheran School Parent/Teacher League Board Member (2002-2008).

Ms. Wagner has long been a champion for District 95 schools because she knows how passionate the teachers and administrators are about the value of education and how hard they work to provide an excellent learning environment for students.
