The School District 95 Educational Foundation is an outgrowth of the school district’s latest Strategic Plan. As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, the Foundation is an independent organization working with District 95 to support activities that enhance, enrich and supplement instructional opportunities for CUSD 95 learners consistent with the school district’s core values and mission.

In addition to its annual teacher innovation grants awarded each spring the Foundation has also researched and has recommended funding of the following projects:

  • ESchool Plus Home Module
An addition to the School District’s student data system, this module will allow parents throughout the district to access real-time data regarding their student—from attendance information to grades, thus allowing the parents and district to share accurate information as quickly as possible.

  • Portable Video Conferencing Equipment
This equipment will allow video conferencing for educational and leadership settings. Such capability will not only enhance the educational setting, but will also provide cost and logistical savings in delivery of enhanced educational offerings.

  • Broadcast Journalism Equipment
The broadcast journalism offerings at the High School are currently using minimal technology. Equipment to be purchased for this program will upgrade the current broadcast journalism offerings at the High School to allow students to work with equipment and gain experience that will prepare them for the pursuit of broadcast journalism in college.
